Caricatures of Muhammad (pbuh) in France and President Emmanuel Macron's recent statements on Islam and Muhammad (pbuh) have hurt the religious sentiments of the world's Muslims. The speakers said, those who are working against Islam in the name of freedom must be stopped. The government of France, by insulting the Messenger, proved that they were a barbarous people. I will never tolerate the insult of Rasul, I am ready to die if necessary. Caricature of the Prophet has hurt our hearts. We cannot accept that. The president of France should apologize for this. Besides, they said, France cannot be allowed to hurt us by selling their products in our country. They called upon all Muslims to boycott French products.
Earlier at 8 a.m., a protest procession led by Shah Sufi Syed Abdul Modachh Hossaini Masuk Chishti from Madrasa ground, organized by Sufi Roshan Ali Dakhil Madrasa, made a brief rally and human chain in Chandraganj market through Noakhali-Lakshmipur regional highway.
