20 injured in police-Aomi League-BNP clash in Sirajganj

At least 20 people, including the policemen, were injured in the incident of the three-way clash between the Aomi League and the police in Kamarkhand upazila of Sirajganj.
On Friday (November 18) at noon, the clash took place in the Jamoil railway station area of the upazila and the leaders and activists of BNP and Aomi League were injured in the clash.
The police have learned that Sirajganj Assistant Superintendent of Police (Kamarkhand Circle) Adnan Mustafiz and Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kamarkhand Police Station Nurannabi Pradhan and their six members were injured.
Sirajganj District BNP General Secretary Saidur Rahman Bachchu said that to make the public meeting in Rajshahi a success on December 3, a discussion meeting will be organized at Kamarkhand Dalit Karal.
He said that leaders including Central Leader Saitada Asifa Ashrafi Papita, District BNP President Rumana Mahmud were present there. When they came out of the Dalit Karal, after the meeting, the leaders and activists of Aomi League attacked them.
Saidur Rahman Bachchu alleged that Esmut Aoami League leaders and activists vandalized the gala and several motorcycles of former MP and district BNP president Rumana Mahmud and when the police tried to resist, the police fired fire on BNP leaders and at least 10 leaders and activists including Rumana Mahmud and Tai were injured.
Kamarkhand Upazila Aomi League General Secretary Anotar Hossain Sheikh said that BNP's allegations are not correct. Rather, they attacked 6-7 leaders and activists of the station area Aomi League in a phase of conflict between the two groups.
Kamarkhand Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nurannabi Pradhan said that the policemen of the Dhao-Palta Dhaota incident were to control the situation and the BNP leaders and activists attacked and said that the situation was being conducted and the situation was being controlled.
Sirajganj Assistant Superintendent of Police (Kamarkhand Circle) Adnan Mustafiz said, BNP has completed its program and vandalized shops in Jamoil station area. When they started to stop, they attacked the police with bricks and sticks.
He also said that the BNP leaders and activists had sharp weapons in their hands, they and the policemen were injured along with the police station, but the situation is currently under control, he said, he said that the incident will be taken.
