Youth arrested under Digital Security Act in Lakshmipur

social media on facebook Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Chandraganj Thana police have arrested a young man named Mohammad Borhan Mitaji (32) for carving and insulting various important people of the government including the Chief Election Commissioner.

The arrested youth is the son of Abul Khat Mitir of East Saidpur village of No. 12 Charshahi Unit of Laxmipur Sadar Upazila.

No. 12 Charshahi Unit Aomi League Office Secretary Abu Chiddik Munna Badi Hate on Monday (March 08) Digital Security Act (Case No-08) 2018 against Mohammad Borhan Mitaji, 28 (2), 29 (1), 31 (2) Section 28 (2), 29 (1), 31 (2) and Chandraganj Police arrested Borhan and handed him to the court in the afternoon.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Chandraganj police station AK Fazlul Haque confirmed the truth of the incident and said that Mohammad Borhan Mitaji has been arrested on his Facebook for the crime of writing indecent and ugly pictures on his Facebook.
