Chandraganj Thana police seized 5 soil delivery pick-up vehicles along with the key of the vehicle while lifting soil from the government canal in Lakshmipur's Charshahi. The vehicles were impounded at 4pm on Tuesday. At that time, the volunteer league leader Babul Ansari, the driver of the Veku car and others escaped after being chased by the police.

According to the police, the police received the information about the excavation of soil from the government canal called Baijjar Toa of Nurullapur village of Charshahi UP under Chandraganj police station. Later around 4 pm, Sangeet force led by ASI Emran Hossain of Chandraganj police station seized 5 cars filled with soil from the standing canal of Baijjar adjacent to Sonali Bix field of Nurullapur village and took away the keys of Veku machine. At that time, volunteer league leader Babul Ansari came forward to clash with the police, when the police gave chase, Babul Ansari and others fled.
