Death sentence war criminal Nazmul Huda arrested

RAB-12 has arrested the accused Nazmul Huda, who was sentenced to death in the Bogra war crime case.
RAB-12 Squad Commander Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Nazrul Islam said these things in a press conference at around 11 pm on Monday (January 16).
Earlier, he was arrested in a joint operation of RAB in Malgram area of the city around 6 pm.
72 years old Nazmul Huda A resident of Shantiram village of Sundarganj upazila of Gaibandha, he was living in Dhartail Paschim Para area of Tongir Kazipara Road in Gazipur.
On November 22, 2017, Nazmul Huda was sentenced to death by the International Criminal Tribunal, and on October 24, 2014, a case was filed against him and six people.
Squad Commander Nazrul Islam said that during the Great War of 1971, members of the Razakar forces were directly involved in the activities of the Razakar forces as an aide to the Pakistani invaders, which was an active member of the Jamaat-e-Islami during the war.
The squad commander added that he was absconding since the verdict was announced, and later on the basis of secret information, it was reported that the accused Nazmul Huda was hiding in a relative's house in Khandar area of Bogra city, based on this information, he was arrested in a joint operation of RAB-12 and 2.
The RAB official said that the arrested Nazmul will be sent to Dhaka at night and will be produced in the International Criminal Tribunal tomorrow, Tuesday.
