Go to the people without slamming foreigners: BNPK Information Minister

Information and Broadcasting Minister Hasan Mahmud has called on BNP to go to the people without sneaking around foreigners.

He said this when reporters asked about the meeting of the United Nations Resident Coordinator and the Ambassador of the European Union at the Secretariat on Wednesday afternoon.

The information minister said, ‘We see that BNP is running to all foreigners. They are in the country to foreign ambassadors, their roar to foreign organizations. But the people of this country are the people of the country, they are the owners of power, they will elect representatives in this country. No foreign ambassador or representative of an international organization has the right to vote for anyone.’

‘But it is not appropriate for foreigners to turn their noses at our internal poison’, Hasan Mahmud said, ‘But even if they don't want to turn their noses, we see that BNP has their noses to them. It is like making the country a small country. I would request BNP to go to the people instead of jumping to the people. It will be good for BNP.’

Earlier, the Information and Broadcasting Minister unveiled the ‘Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100’ booklet, Secretary of the Ministry. Maqbul Hossain as a special guest and Director General of the Directorate of Film and Publication (DFP). m. Golam Kibrita, Vice Cheterman of Film Censor Board Muha. Saifullah, Director of DFP Mohammad Ali and others attended the event.
