Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has decided to increase the price of gold by Tk 2333 per load. It has been decided to increase the price in the global market today (May 10) with an emergency meeting. Sources related to Bajus said the matter.
According to the source, the executive committee meeting has decided to increase the price of gold by 200 rupees per gram, which will increase the price of gold by 2 thousand 333 rupees.
According to Bajus's decision, from today 22 carat gold (11.664 grams) gold will be increased by 2 thousand 333 taka and will be sold at 71 thousand 443 taka. 21 carat gold will be sold at 68 thousand 293 taka, 18 carat gold 59 thousand 544 taka and traditional method gold will be sold at 49 thousand 22 taka per traditional method.
Bajus general secretary Dilip Kumar Agarotala told the media that considering the emergency situation, a decision has to be taken to increase the price of gold before Eid.
Earlier, last March, the price of gold was reduced in two phases in two phases. From the last March 10, the price of gold is fixed at 22 thousand 41 taka per load (11.664 grams) from 10 March. 21 carat gold is 65 thousand 960 taka, 18 carat gold 57 thousand 211 taka and the traditional method is fixed at 46 thousand 890 taka per traditional method.
