Budget support: ADB is lending $500 million

Asian Bank ADB is providing 5 thousand 300 million or 500 million dollars in loans in the current year as a budget support.
This loan will be available for 15 years after three years of grace period.
However, the payment can be reduced by negotiating the sum of the payments, and the interest will be only half a percentage of Bangladesh.
Edimon Ginting, Country Director of Eshit Unnn Bank, said this while meeting with the Planning Minister on Thursday (September 15).
The government is more interested in getting the budget support along with the project support from the other associates, which is the advantage of spending money in any sector, as the government enters cash dollars.
And that's why the government has been looking for cheap dollars for a few months, in the meantime, the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, Asia Bank, Japan, these four organizations have been asking for at least 700 million dollars.
After a meeting with the Planning Minister on Thursday, ADB Country Director said that Bangladesh is being given 500 millitons of money loan support under two conditions.
Meanwhile, in the last two financial years, the ADB has given Bangladesh a budget of one billion dollars in the budget. The planning minister said that the loan promise will only be met but the conditions will be checked or how positive it will be for Bangladesh. It should be noted that only the budget is not, in the meeting, the Haor area will also discuss the issue of flooding infrastructure development.
