Mirza Fakhrul's appeal to the rulers to resign and take a safe exit

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir urged the ruling party to resign and take a safe exit. Otherwise, the BNP leader said that they will not find a way to escape.

On the occasion of Jehad Day, he made this call at the discussion meeting of Shaheed Jehad Memorial Council at Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) on Monday (October 10). He said that the fascist government should be overthrown in a mass coup with the people. He also called for building national unity like the student-mass movement of the 90s.

Mirza Fakhrul said, BNP wants to restore democracy and establish peace in the country. I will bring back democracy even at the cost of thousands of lives. I will defeat the government on the streets. All political parties should join the movement and bring down the horrible government.
