Noakhali RAB-11 conducted a special operation in the Padipara Bazar area of Sonaimuri police station of the district on Tuesday (December 27). Imam Hossain Prakash Emon (20) was arrested for stealing a stolen motorcycle from in front of Fahad Telecom in Padipara Bazar under Sonaimuri police station. Acting Company Commander of RAB-11, CPC-3, Lakshmipur Md. Abu Saleh confirmed the arrest through a press release to the media.
The press release further stated that during interrogation of the arrested Imam Hossain Prakash Emon, his accomplices, absconding accused Md. Wajid Hossain (21), Md. Khalilur Rahman (40), Md. Robin (21), Rubel Prakash Pagla Rubel (27), Md. Azad Prakash Yaba Azad (26) told RAB that they were associates of the theft gang.
It is learned that the recovered motorcycle was stolen from the house of journalist Faruk Salauddin in Bhavabhadri village of Alaiyarpur Union No. 4 under Begumganj Police Station on the night of November 22. After a case was registered against the arrested accused at Begumganj Model Police Station in Noakhali district, he was sent to Noakhali District Jail through the court today, Monday (December 28).
