Wreath laying at Shaheed Minar on Independence Day in Noakhali

People from all walks of life paid tribute to the brave martyrs of the freedom struggle by placing wreaths at the Central Shaheed Minar in the first hour of Independence Day in Noakhali.

On Sunday (March 26) in the early hours of the day, a smart team of police paid tribute by providing a guard of honor and firing cannons at the Shaheed Minar.

The grand independence and national day celebrations started with wreath laying by the district administration and the district police. After that, Prime Minister's Personal Assistant Alhaj Jahangir Alam laid the wreath.

Later, flowers were paid by various professional, social and cultural organizations.
