No chance of change of power without elections: Who

Stating that there is no chance of change of power without elections, Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that the source of power of Awami League is the people of this country and Almighty Allah is the owner of power.

He also commented that the time has come for BNP to withdraw from politics because of negative politics and election diversion, not the government.

The time has come for the Awami League government to leave, Obaidul Quader said in a statement on Wednesday (August 10) in response to BNP Secretary General's statement.

In the statement, he also said that the people no longer have any confidence in the mouthpieces of divisive political parties like BNP.

The general secretary of Awami League also commented that BNP has shown failure in running the government and has set a precedent of extreme irresponsibility as an opposition party.

BNP is holding meetings and rallies almost every day but they are complaining that they are not being allowed to hold meetings, they are being deprived of their rights - in response to these false allegations, Obaidul Quader said in his statement that BNP is trying to blame the government for its failures and misdeeds. It is their old nature to do.

Obaidul Quader claimed that the nature of BNP's undemocratic politics is now clear to the people, claiming that during their rule, the country was transformed into a mogul. Religious extremism and sectarianism spread, farmers lost their lives for fertiliser.

In the statement he further said that during the rule of BNP, the upward trend of the commodity prices raised the people's appetite, recorded the oppression of the minorities.

Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said that BNP wants to plunge the country into that anarchy again, people recognize BNP as a racist, people will not give them that chance.
