Record number of deaths and diagnoses from COVID-19 in the country's history

In the last 24 hours, 230 more people have died due to coronavirus, which is the highest number of deaths from the coronavirus in the country. So far, the death toll has reached 16,419 people, which had previously been infected with the coronavirus on July 9, with the highest number of 212 deaths in the country's history.

In a circular signed by Additional Director General (Administration) of the Department of Health, Professor Dr. Nasima Sultana, on Sunday (July 11), the notification said that the coronavirus has been detected in the country in the last 24 hours. The number of infected people is 10 lakh 21 thousand 189 people. On July 8, the highest number of 11,651 people in the history of the country were diagnosed with the coronavirus.

In the last 24 hours, 39,860 samples have been collected, but 40,15 samples were tested on the previous day, including the previous day's samples. The detection rate is 29.67 percent, so far the total detection rate is 14.65 percent, the notification said that 6,362 people have recovered in one day, with the number of healthy patients who are 8 lakh 74 thousand 501.

 

 

The 60-60 deaths, 111 out of 230, were 51, 51 people between 60 and 60 years, 42 people between 41 and 50 years, 19 in 31 to 40 years and seven in 21 to 30 years.

Among the 24 hours of death, 133 males and 97 women died in the hospital, according to the statistics of the division and 66 of the house, according to the statistics of the division, Khulna Division, 56, 39 in Rajshahi Division, 26 in Rajshahi Division, eight in Sylhet Division, 22 in Rangpur Division and 5 in Matamonsingh Division.

The first three cases of coronavirus were detected in the country on March 8 last year. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person infected with the virus died in the country.
