Land officer in Panna jail in ACC case

The accused in the case of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in the case of acquiring known non-essential assets, concealing information, Assistant Officer of Land Office Md. The court sent Mizanur Rahman Panna to jail.
Judge Mehdi Al Masud of Barisal Division Special Judge Court gave this order on Wednesday.
Earlier, Panna Divisional, Assistant Officer of Charkaauta Uniiton Land Office of Sadar Upazila surrendered and applied for bail after rejecting the application and ordered to send him to jail.
Mizanur Rahman Panna is a resident of Kaunita Mansa Bai area of Barisal city, a court bench assistant Abul Bashar confirmed this information.
He said that in the statement of assets submitted to the Anti-Corruption Commission, the information of Tk 16 lakh 23 thousand 717 was concealed and the case against Panna for acquiring assets of Tk 35 lakh 25 thousand 318 was hidden and the case was filed against Panna on September 11, 2019.
