South African pubs are shot, killed 14

At least 14 people were killed in a bar firing in Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa. 3 more people were injured in the shooting, their condition is critical, local police said that the incident took place late on Saturday night, according to Al-Jazeera.

citing witnesses The police said they had been in a turf in a taxi late on Saturday night and then fired indiscriminately at the bars and the police removed the bodies on Sunday morning, which is being investigated for the reason.

Police officer Elias Mawela said, ‘After the shooting at night, we got news in the morning. Three seriously injured people were sent to the hospital. When we reached, 12 dead bodies were found there. 11 people were sent to the hospital and 2 people died.’

According to the police officer, the licensed bar used a high-powered firearm in the barrel, which was reportedly in the area where the number of cartridges found at the scene was taken by a part of the attack and shot at the patrons of the bar.
