13 gold bars worth crores of rupees seized in Teknaf

Bangladesh Coast Guard has recovered 13 gold bars weighing 2,159.43 grams in Teknaf, Cox's Bazar, which has not been possible to arrest anyone.

Commander Md. Ashiq Ahmed gave this information.

He said that on the basis of the secret information about smuggling gold in the trawler from Mitanmar, a team of Coast Guards is in the Baraitli Paraban area. When the same suspect was signaled to stop, the person threw a sack into the Parabon and after searching the bag, he was found to be searched for 13 gold bars.
