The company's board of directors decided to sell Twitter to Musk last month, according to the agreement, which decided to sell Twitter for $4,400 million.
Regarding the intention of buying the micro-blogging site Twitter, Musk said he wants to make Twitter an open platform for IDEA exchange. This thought of buying Twitter influenced him initially.
Musk has said many times before that he wants to let Twitter practice freedom of speech by freeing censorship.
After signing the deal, Musk announced that new features will be added to Twitter, so that users are more interested in using this social media.

In the wake of Musk's agreement to buy Twitter, former US President Trump said that even if his account is reinstated, he will not return to this platform.
