Tamil Nadu, affected by heavy rain

The southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, which has been affected by continuous rains, has already killed two people in Chennai.

The state authorities say that there has been a flood and landslides in various cities including Chennai, Thiruvalur, Ranipet, and landslides that have been recorded in Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram and Chennai, which have recorded more than 160 mm of rainfall in Chennai, Thiruvalur, Ranipet, and all kinds of educational and commercial establishments have been closed. Special measures are underway for medical treatment and other emergency services.

Meanwhile, due to continuous rains, most of the Mahasak drowning has stopped communication with other states.
