Fakhrul said he (Gitaur Rahman) gave the nation a multi-party democracy and gave new hope to the nation, bringing together a divided nation, and started a new revolution for a prosperous Bangladesh.

The leader of BNP also said, ‘Gitaur Rahman made the entire nation, the whole of Bangladesh a prosperous Bangladesh in just three years, we remember him with respect on this day.’

Mirza Fakhrul said, ‘Unfortunately, our nation has been hoping for the hopes and aspirations. The Awami League is going to destroy the liberal democratic state system, which is going to be a disguised system of governance.’
