China's economy grew by 18.3 percent

China's economy grew by a record 18.3 percent in the first three months of this year compared to the same period last year.

This is the first three-month GDP increase in the country since 1992. Despite record GDP growth, Chinese economists expected more. They expected 19 percent GDP.

The country's industrial production rose 14.1 percent in March from a year ago. Besides, retail sales increased by 34.2 percent.

Last year, the country's growth dropped to 6.8 percent in the first three months due to the lockdown due to the Corona epidemic. When the economy of other countries is in turmoil due to Corona, China has started to return to its previous state. Economists believe that strict measures and economic incentives to prevent the spread of Corona have played an effective role in this regard.
