Among the 24 hours of death, 113 male and 74 females died in hospital. According to the same division, 68 people died in Dhaka division, 36 people in Chittagong division, 14 people in Rajshahi division, 39 in Khulna division, 9 in Sylhet division, 6 people in Sylhet division, 6 people in Rangpur division and 6 people in Rangpur division.

The first three cases of coronavirus were detected in the country on March 8 last year. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person infected with the virus died in the country.
