Bangladesh sets record in remittances even during the Corona pandemic

The amount of remittances in Bangladesh Bank has not been made in the country before in any financial year. This is the amount of Bangladesh Bank's reserves (up to 29 January) at 46.082 billion or more than 4,608 million dollars.

According to the report of Bangladesh Bank, in the last month of the financial year 2020-2020, the expatriates sent 194 million US dollars in remittances, which is the highest in the entire financial year.

Meanwhile, despite the remittances sent by expatriates, the reserves of foreign currency in Bangladesh have crossed the milestone of 46 billion dollars. At the end of last Tuesday, Bangladesh Bank's reserves are 46.000 billion dollars, which is more than the past four bills per month.
