Congress president Kapil Sibal, who was the former Union Minister for Law, Kapil Sibal, presented the Rajya Sabha nomination in the presence of Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav in the capital of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, and said he had resigned from the Congress on May 16. The senior lawyer said that he has submitted his nomination paper as a Rajya Sabha independent candidate.
Kapil was one of the top leaders of the Congress but he was far from the top leadership for some time. He was one of the ‘G-23’ group who wrote a letter to Sonita Gandhi who wrote a letter to Sonita Gandhi who was involved in the reforms of the Congress.
He has realized that his Rajya Sabha election will end in July and he has no chance of being nominated once again. He was not called in the contemplation camp of the Congress Austpur in the Congress, after receiving the Rajya Sabha assurance from the Samajwadi Party, he was in the Congress. Kapil, however, did not comment against the Congress, he told the media that it is very difficult to break out of the three-decade relationship, he said, he said he has always been against the Modi government and will continue to try to form a strong alliance against the Modi government.
