Historic Bajra Shahi Mosque
The architecture of the Mughal period that attracted everyone's attention, of Noakhali Bajra Shahi Mosque is one of them, built in the model of Bajra Shahi Mosque, which is the model of the Delhi Shahi Mosque. In the north, Bajra, the famous Bajra Shahi Jame Masjid is located on the western side of the main place called Bajra in the north of Sonaimi upazila. Due to the architectural style of the mosque, people who are thirsty for travel from different parts of the country come to see its beauty. If the government takes a suitable initiative, the Bajra Shahi Mosque will become the center of the country and foreign tourists.
During this long period, the Mughal emperors and their bureaucrats built numerous buildings and mosques in various places, which are still a rare and bright example of the architectural art, including the Taj Mahal, Secunder, Deotane Am, Agra Fort, Delhi. The Red Fort and the Shahi Jame Masjid in Delhi are one of the famous Jame Masjid of Delhi during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Muhammad Shah, the zamindar Aman Ulyah built 1154 Hijrisal, 1139 Bengali in 1741 i.e. three hundred years ago, which is still a unique example of Mughal architecture and continues to attract the attention of local and foreign tourists.
Zamindar Aman Ullah dug a huge lake with a high foot on 30 acres of land in front of his house. In the west side of the Dighi, the beautiful 116 feet long and 30 feet wide dome is built in the 20-foot-trees of the 30-foot-tree.
At the special request of the Mughal Emperor Mohammad Shah, the resident of the Holy Makkah Sharif, according to some, one of the oldest scholars of Delhi, Hazrat Maulana Shah Abu Siddiqui, was appointed as the first imam of the historic mosque, and his descendants continue to maintain the status of the imam of this mosque according to his merit. At present, Imam Hasan Siddiqui, the seventh male of the first Imam, continues to perform the status of the imam of the mosque.
