The court sentenced Fuad Zaman to 7 years rigorous imprisonment and was also sentenced to 5,000 taka, and 1 month's imprisonment without payment.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday (September 29) at noon, the 57th Section 57 of the Information and Communication Technology Act, 2006 (Amended, 2013) was proved Dhaka Cyber Tribunal Judge Mohammad Assamch Jaglul Hossain announced the verdict.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement of the case, at 7:17 am on August 15, 2018, Fuad insulted the murder of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Facebook and also publicly supported the killers proved in the court's verdict.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the court had framed the charges in this case on January 6 last year. A total of 7 people's testimony was taken during the hearing, and Fuad Zaman was arrested on 12 September 2018.
