Thirteen people have been arrested on charges of involvement in an attack on RAB members in Mirsarai, Chittagong.<\/p>\n

RAB arrested these 13 people in a raid at various places in Chagalnaiya and Mirsarai of Feni on Thursday night. At the same time, weapons snatched from RAB members were recovered. This information was given by RAB 7.<\/p>\n

The arrested persons are Saidur Rahman (33), Anwar Hossain (45), SM Shafayet Hossain (38), Mofizul Islam (36), Shahidul Islam (25), Shoib Uddin (29), Md. Saidul Islam (30), Nahid Uddin (30), Md. Abu Sayeed (28), Nasir Uddin (38), Md. Main Uddin, Hossain (33), Fahad (26).<\/p>\n

RAB-7 Chittagong Assistant Director (Media) Nurul Absar told Prothom Alo that the attackers were identified and 13 people were arrested based on information received, including CCTV footage of the incident.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

On Wednesday evening, RAB members were attacked at the head of Shantirhat Road in Bariyarhat Municipal Market of Mirsarai Upazila on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway. They had gone to the area in plain clothes to collect information about drug dealers.<\/p>\n

Before the attack, a covered van blocked the movement of the RAB members. Later, the people in the covered van shouted 'robbers, robbers'. Hearing this, local people came. The miscreants, including local people, attacked the RAB members. Three people, including two RAB members, were seriously injured in the attack.
