Like every year, this colorful boat race is organized by the brave freedom fighter Abdul Malek Mita Smriti Sangsad. It is one of the most recreational competitions in the district and 12 upazilas of Tangail, which are the gathering of millions of people in water boats and vehicles on the road.<\/p>\n

Competition in Naraganj, Sirajganj, Manikganj, Pabna and Tangail, from the few upazilas, Allah Bharsa, Mater Dota, Sonar Tari, Phule Tari, Adarsh Tari, Matur Pankhi, Matiraj and Jalpari including Bahari Name and Color Dingi, Kusha, Sepai, Toy, Alonga, etc.<\/p>\n

In the final round of the competition, Nikoil's \u2018Yamunar Tari\u2019 boat in Bhutapur, Tangail, was the champion of the boat. The runner-up was the \u2018Ekta\u2019 boat of the same upazila. Later, the guests distributed the prizes among the winners.<\/p>\n

Basil Upazila Parishad Chairman Kazi Alid Islam presided over the event as the chief guest and enjoyed the boat race by the local MP Bir Muktijoddha Advocate Jotaherul Islam, the district commissioner of Tangail inaugurated the competition. Md. Ataul Gani.<\/p>\n

The main negotiator was the head of the kidney department of Antar Khan Modern Medical College Hospital, Professor Dr. Abdus Samad, Assistant Secretary of SINI of Finance Ministry Amin Sharif Supan delivered the welcome speech.<\/p>\n
