Those concerned believe that it is going to be the 28th gas field in Bangladesh.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday (June 15) morning at 10 am DST (Drill Steam Test) the company was able to light the flame of good fortune.<\/p>\n<p>The pressure inside the well is 6,000 psi (per square inch) and the floating pressure is more than 13,000. First of all, one level test is going on. First of all, BAPEX is seeing the possibility of getting gas in 4 levels in the well. BAPEX is 32 km from this new field and Golapganj is 46 km away from this field.<\/p>\n<p>\"We don't want to say anything about this poison right now, we're hoping for something good, we can have a lot of pockets, so we can say it after an hour of observation, and it's not right,\" said Bapex Managing Director Mohammad Ali.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent seminar, senior secretary of the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources, Anisur Rahman, said about the field, \"We are going to be successful in a new field. There is more than 60,000 well pressures. The test is going on, this may be good news for us, hopefully we will give good news very soon.\"<\/p>\n<p>Bangladesh has so far 27 gas fields have been discovered. These gas fields have 21.4 TCF, and 6 TCF are possible stocks, including 18 tcf in the first 18 tcf. The residue is only 3 TCF, while the potential stock is up to 7 more.<\/p>\n<p>113 wells are being lifted every year like 1 TCF, including 1,145 mmcfd of 70 wells (daily) of the domestic company, 45 wells of IOC 45 wells, 1,615 mmcf (milion cubic feet). About 2,500 milligrams of gas is being extracted daily, while LNG has to be imported to meet the gas shortage.<\/p>\n<p>State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid told Kal Kantha, \"I see some good possibilities. We will not be stocked.
