Executive Director of Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB). Iftekharuzzaman said that the recently concluded 13th National Assembly election was acceptable, it was fair, competitive, participatory and inclusive.<\/p>\n

He said this in a press conference at Midas Center in Dhanmondi area of the capital on Monday (February 16) morning.<\/p>\n

In response to a question Dr. Iftekharuzzaman said, \u2018Although the Awami League had announced the boycott of the election and pledged to resist the vote, the leaders and workers of the party were active.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018Although the party has officially declared the election illegal, a large number of them have participated in the election as a large number of Trinamool workers and supporters.<\/p>\n
