Given the international spotlight on Bangladesh elections, it is unlikely that any action will be taken due to fear of being perceived as suppressing freedom of expression. However, according to "insiders" of the Bangladesh Chhatra League, if no action is taken against the owner of the website, they will explore other channels to ensure that the owner understands that what he is doing, whether on his own or on behalf of the BNP, is a serious criminal offence, and they will take action against him.
