Popular Argentine club River Plate wants to open an academy in Bangladesh

Sebastian Perez, head of Riverplate's National and International School Division, said there was a great discussion with the clubs in Bangladesh. We are interested in doing some academies here. The way football is seen here, the feeling of people here towards football is very similar to ours. If the clubs here want to have academies, we are interested in working with them.

After arriving in Bangladesh on Monday (February 27) morning for a two-day visit, the River Plate officials started meeting with the officials of the local clubs. In the beginning, Sebastian meets with Bashundhara Kings. After that, he sat in a meeting with Dhaka's traditional club Abahani. After the meeting, both clubs expressed their interest in the development of football in the country.
