A young man was killed after being hit by a train in Chapainawabganj. On Saturday (December 10) around 5 pm, the accident took place in Golabazi area of Nachol upazila of the district.
The name of the deceased is Md. Swadhin (26). He is the Golabazi Mohalla of the upazila. Durul Hoda's son was an independent profession fish trader.
In this regard, the chairman of Kasba UP, Golam Zakari, said that on Saturday afternoon, the goat of Swadhin was eating grass next to the railway line. The commuter train going from Rahanpur to Rajshahi was actually an area adjacent to Golabai Bazar. The poison has been informed to GRP.
Nachol police station officer-in-charge Mintu Rahman said that the body of the deceased has been handed over to the family.
