‘The volunteers of Red Crescent have set a unique example of human service by increasing awareness of the coronavirus, spraying disinfectant in public places and engaging in COVID-19 vaccine activities,’ said Abdul Hamid.’
He said, ‘Bangladesh Red Crescent Society has been on the side of endangered people for more than four decades, the society has been a service to humanity. The volunteers of the society are the savior of the society, the relief distribution in the fast-paced safe place, the distribution of relief in the society after Duryag, the system of the government and the safety of the government as a role in this and the government is also a role in this country.’
Expecting that the members of the Youth Red Crescent will play an expected role in the development of the country from their respective positions, the President said, ‘I hope, by participating in the sixth youth rally, the members of the Youth Red Crescent will get an opportunity to become an ideal volunteer to serve humanity.’
He further said, ‘This gathering will play an important role in making the youth and youth competent to develop and lead human qualities in them as well as to develop and lead them.’
Abdul Hamid welcomed the initiative of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Chittagong District and City Unit and Youth Red Crescent, Chittagong in Chittagong ‘Sixth Youth Rally 2022’ and extended warm greetings to all concerned including the participants in the youth rally.
