Decision not to play IPL, three Auji cricketers returned to the country

Three Australian cricketers Adam Zampa, Kane Richardson and Andrew Tye left the IPL midway through the tournament citing personal reasons. Among them, Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson were playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the current season. On the other hand, Andrew Tye has not played a single match for Rajasthan Royals so far.

Royal Challengers Bangalore informed the information in a tweet today (April 26). There they wrote, 'Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson are returning to Australia due to personal reasons and will not be available for the current IPL. Royal Challengers Bangalore fully supports their decision.'

Meanwhile, veteran spin all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin has become the first Indian cricketer to opt out of the IPL. His decision to stay with his family during this critical period of Corona epidemic. It was also welcomed by Ashwin's team Delhi Capitals.

 

Ravichandran Ashwin said in a late night tweet on Sunday (April 25), 'From tomorrow (Monday, April 26) I am no longer in the current season of IPL. Family and many close people are currently fighting against Covid-19 and I feel it is my duty to be there for them during this difficult time. If the situation improves, I will come back to IPL soon.
