Sonali couldn't do well in Bollywood due to mafia influence

Although celebrities have spoken about the mafia's rule in Bollywood before, most of them kept their mouths shut. Now, Sonali Bendre has spoken about it. Recently, in an Indian podcast, she said that once she was offered a big film, she turned it down. Because, she was doing two films in the South at that time. After that, everything changed. After a few years, she got a chance to work in a big role. But then at the last moment, she was informed that she was not doing this job. That's when she realized that the mafia was behind her exclusion. They did this because they turned down their previous film offer.

He further said that he understood where the problem was at that time. Since Bollywood was not an organized industry, it was very easy for mafias to interfere in Bollywood. Apart from that, money was also an important factor. At that time, banks would lend a certain amount of money to make a film. But the rest of the money was from the mafia. This was the case in the 90s. This is because at that time, even if the directors or producers spoke, the reins were in the hands of this mafia. As a result, he was not allowed to act in several films.

Sonali Bendre made her Bollywood debut in 1994 at the age of 19 with the film 'Aag'. After realizing the influence of the mafia, she stayed away from risky film producers. And her husband, film producer Goldie, helped her understand this. Recently, she also made her OTT debut with 'The Broken News'. 'The Broken News' was released on Zee5 on June 10. It also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Shriya Pilgaonkar. It is directed by Vinay Waikul.
