Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken the title as the President of the United Arab Emirates and today on behalf of herself and the people of Bangladesh, today she congratulated Sheikh Mohammed bin Jayed Al Nahitan.
A message sent to the new president of the UAE, Sheikh Hasina said, ‘Electing you to this position, this proves that the ability and prudence and prudence of the UAE has deeply trusted the people of the UAE and the people of the UAE in their leadership.’ This has been informed in a press release published by the Prime Minister's Press Wing.
He reiterated that, since the establishment of Bangladesh as an independent state in 1971, Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates have developed friendly relations, as a result of which there is an excellent bilateral cooperation relationship between the two and the current bilateral interests.‘
The Prime Minister recalled his message with deep gratitude that on March 10, 1974, the UAE gave Bangladesh the first UAE as an independent sovereign state among the Gulf countries, which made the way for the recognition of Bangladesh by the fraternal Arab countries. And thus the foundation of a bilateral partnership with the region was established.’
‘I would like to proudly mention that our strong bilateral relations have reached a higher level of mutual cooperation today. Human resources, business, trade, investment, culture, education between our two countries are high. And cooperation has made significant progress in many areas including the defense sector.’
Sheikh Hasina expressed confidence that the existing relationship and partnership between the two countries will deepen and will contribute to the welfare of the people of both the countries through undivided efforts.
The Prime Minister said that he is interested in working intensively with Sheikh Mohammed bin Jatid Al Nahitan.
The Prime Minister congratulated the new president of the UAE and wished him good health, happiness and success and continued peace, prosperity and progress of the fraternal people of the UAE.
