CID Inspector Golam Mostafa, the investigating officer of this case, requested him to be detained in jail until the investigation of the case is over. In the application, he said, in the case of the Narcotics Control Act, Parimani has given ‘important’ information in the third round of remand. Therefore, the accused is detained in jail. If he is released on bail, he can escape on bail. After the hearing, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ashek Imam rejected his bail application and ordered him to be sent to jail.
Earlier on Thursday (August 19), Parimani's one-day remand was granted by Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Atiqul Islam on August 10. On August 10, Parimani and Ashraful Islam Dipur granted two-day remand by Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Debbrat Biswas.
Earlier, the court ordered Parimani and his associate Ashraful Islam Dipu to be sent to jail on August 13 in a drug case. That day at 7 pm, he was taken to Kashimpur Mahila Kendra in Gazipur.
On the night of August 4, after a first four hours of raids, RAB arrested Parimani and his associate Deepu from Banani's house. This Samat has seized various drugs from Parimani's house. On August 5, RAB-1 filed a case against Parimani and his associate under the Narcotics Act.
