Ecuador cancels Julitan Assange citizenship

Ecuador has revoked the citizenship of Wikileaks founder Julitan Assange, which is known to Australia by the judiciary.

According to Qatar-based news media Al Jazeera, Assange's citizenship is canceled because there are various inconsistencies in his citizenship and there are differences in the signatures, the fee has not been paid properly.

But Assange's lawyer Carlos Paveda said he could not appear in court, but his citizenship was not revoked in the right way, they would appeal against it.

Since June 2012, Wikileaks founder Juliet Assange was in a political ash at the Ecuador Embassy in London for more than 8 years. Later in April 2019, he was taken to the British police and handed him over to the British police. Assange is currently detained in London's Belmarsa Jail, which was not handed over to the United States in January.
