Jatiya Party Chairman and Deputy Leader of the Opposition GM Quader said that the people of the country are suffering during the Corona period, they need to be saved. Therefore, at least 2 crore families should be given 10,000 taka per month.
The Jatiya Party Chairman made these remarks at a memorial meeting and food distribution program among the needy organized by the National Youth Solidarity to mark the second death anniversary of Hussain Muhammad Ershad at the Jatiya Party Central Office Kakrail Auditorium on Friday (July 16).
GM Quader said, "If someone has no food in their house, they will never accept the lockdown. If a child cries in their house due to hunger, they will go out. The country's budget is made with the tax money of the common people. The common people of the country own that money."
The Jatiya Party Chairman said, the global pandemic Corona is not a small matter, the whole world is united in confronting Corona. In Bangladesh too, Corona must be confronted collectively. He called on the government to confront Corona with all political parties, all NGOs and professionals.
