The High Court has granted bail to BNP leader Nipun Rath Chowdhury, which has been charged with sabotage.
A virtual High Court Division Bench formed in combination with Justice Muhammad Abdul Hafeez and Justice Mohammad Ali gave this order on Wednesday.
Senior lawyer Zantul Abedin and lawyer Nitai Rat Chowdhury were in favor of the bail application in the court, and Deputy Attorney General Haroon Or Rashid was on the side of the state.
