2020 The government grant has received the government grant in the fiscal year 2015. The film ‘Raid’ produced by Jata Ahsan will be directed by Mezbaur Rahman Sumon. It will be announced in a notification on Tuesday at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
It is said in the notification, to encourage talent and mindfulness in the film industry and to uphold the spirit of Bangladesh's contemporary culture, freedom and liberation war, in order to provide a grant of 2020-21 financial year for the production of full-length film committee members based on the unanimous decision of the members of the full-length film committee.
The notification also said that this year the film industry has been affected by the global pandemic coronavirus.
