Bangladesh has been re-elected by the deputy member of the Board of Directors of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in the year 2021-2024. This virtual election was held during the 109th session of the International Labor Conference in Geneva on Monday (June 14).
Bangladesh ILO has been elected as a candidate for the highest 210 votes in the Eshita-Pacific region, since the announcement of candidature, the Bangladesh Mission of Geneva has launched an election campaign to get the support of other ILO member states on behalf of Bangladesh.
Bangladesh delegation led by Minister of State for Labor and Employment Begum Mannujan Sufian participated in this virtual election.
