Miscreants killed a young man who was not participating in the Ashura Tajita procession in Sutrapur of Old Dhaka in the capital under an under-construction building in Dhaota Di.
The incident took place on BK Das Road after 5 pm on Friday (June 26) and the police could not immediately reveal the name of the deceased.
Sutrapur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Matiur Rahman told the media that the young man was with the Tajita procession. During the procession, he was taken under an under-construction building and he was killed in the hospital.
