Indonesians can send 1,000 troops to Gaza in April

The army of the country has said that Gaza is ready to send 1000 troops by April in Indonesia. The army may be deployed as part of the United Nations mandated international stability force.

In a statement on Monday (Feb. 16), the Indonesian Army spokesman said that a total of 8,000 troops will be kept ready by June, but President Prabo Subianto will decide the final decision.

On Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia clearly said that sending the Ghaza army as part of the peace plan proposed by US President Donald Trump should not be seen as a normalization of political relations with Israel.

The ministry said that Indonesia consistently rejected any attempts by the Palestinian people to displace or demographic change.

Also, this Motaten shall be completely under non-war and humanitarian mandates and subject to the consent of the Palestinian Authority.

The statement also said that the Indonesian army will not engage in any war campaign or in conflict with the armed groups, and there will be no mandate of disarmament against any party.
