No one can have sole power in the country: Hasnat Abdullah

Hasnat Abdullah, the chief organizer of the National Citizens Party (NCP) in the southern region, said, "No one can have absolute power in Bangladesh. No one can have more power in the state system than the people. Therefore, we seek the cooperation of the people of Chattala in building this Bangladesh."

He made these remarks at a road rally of the National Citizens Party (NCP) at Chaturi Chaumuhani Bazar in Anwara, Chittagong around 12 noon on Sunday.

Hasnat Abdullah said, "After a long struggle, we got a new Bangladesh in exchange for the blood of the martyrs and injured in July-August. Just as in this Bangladesh, there is no fear of speaking up and asking questions, the next Bangladesh must be built with accountability. In a Bangladesh where there will be no more night elections with UNOs and OCs. In a Bangladesh where those who practice Islam will no longer be tortured, in a Bangladesh where there will be no more communal harmony."

At the roadshow, NCP Central Joint Member Secretary Dr. Tasneem Zara said, NCP wants to build a beautiful Bangladesh. We want a Bangladesh in which the state works for the people. The Anti-Corruption Commission, the police, every ministry, the secretariat will work for the people. So we want to build a new Bangladesh with everyone's cooperation. NCP's journey is very long, there will be many obstacles and dangers. So if the countrymen are by our side, we will be able to continue the struggle.

Present at the event were NCP Joint Member Secretary Mir Arshadul Haque, Joint Chief Organizer Dr. Mahmuda Alam Mitu, Md. Ataullah, Central Executive Committee Member Zubairul Alam Manik, Organizer Arman Hossain, Azizur Rahman Rizvi and others.
