Mustafiz shines with the ball even on Delhi's loss

Mustafizur Rahman played a key role in Bangladesh's win in Sharjah the previous night. Within 24 hours, he stepped onto the IPL stage, playing for Delhi Capitals. Despite losing by a big margin against Gujarat Titans, Mustafizur was in his usual rhythm. He conceded just 13 runs in the first two overs, then gave away 11 runs in another over. However, due to team failure, Delhi lost by 10 wickets.

Chasing a target of 200 runs, Gujarat started their batting aggressively. They scored 43 runs in just three overs. That's when Mustafizur came on the attack. He gave away just 6 runs in the first over, without hitting any boundaries. He gave away just 7 runs in the second over, despite hitting a boundary. He was controlled in the fourth over, giving away 11 runs.

Apart from Mustafizur, Dushmanth Chamira tried to suppress the runs, but none of them could show success. Opener Sai Sudarshan reached a half-century in 30 balls. On the other hand, Shubman Gill started slowly but later became devastating. Sudarshan hit Kuldeep Yadav for a six after his fifty and reached his century in 56 balls. In the end, Gujarat Titans secured the victory without losing any wickets and with 1 over in hand.
