Meanwhile, Dr. Enamur Rahman said that those who are floating in the city corporation, whose NID is in other districts but are in the city corporation, have received complaints that the councilors are not listing them. We have instructed the councilors to provide assistance to those who are in need of food wherever they are.
He also said that the government has allocated Tk 574 crore 9 lakh 27 thousand so far for the help of unemployed people. All the city corporations of the country have been allocated more for buying baby food. As a result, 1 crore 24 lakh families will benefit. Packaged food worth Tk 7.5 crore has been purchased for distribution among marginalized communities affected by natural calamities. Each packet will contain 17 kg of product including 10 kg of rice. On the occasion of Eid, one more round of food items will be distributed to 100 million families.
