Supplementary budget of Tk 13,987.27 crore passed

The supplementary budget for the financial year 2020-2 has been passed in the National Parliament for the financial year ended June 30, 2021 and the payment of Tk 13 thousand 987 crore 27 lakh 32 thousand rupees.

The budget was passed by the Supplementary Supplementary Bill-2021 pass and the Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal proposed to pass the bill and it would be unanimously passed in Parliament.

In the current financial year, the main budget was Tk 5 lakh 68 thousand crore. 19 ministries and departments have increased by 13 thousand 987 crore 27 lakh 32 thousand taka. And 29 ministries and departments have decreased by 29 thousand 17 crores. This amount has been reduced and increased in the current financial year's revised budget size of 5 crore 38 lakh 983 crores.

Before the passage of the bill, the 19 grant demands of the Prime Minister's work, including the demands of the Prime Minister's office, will be passed separately in Parliament. The members of the opposition party have brought a total of 190 layoff proposals on all these demands.
