European Hematology Association (EHA) and Hematology Society of Bangladesh (HSB) joint venture in the country. The first international conference titled Hematology Tutorial was held for the first time in the two-day scientific conference held in a hotel in the capital on October 3 and 4.

Expert doctors from home and abroad discussed the latest advances and modern medical techniques of hematological diseases, especially myeloid and lymphoid malignancy, B cells and T/NK cell lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma, acute and chronic leukemia and modern medical techniques. International standard experts highlighted these critical diseases, advanced treatment and effective strategies for improving the quality of life of the patient.
The scientific sessions were conducted by the European Hematology Association experts. Local experts present a few complex clinical cases. The educational interactive quiz competition was held for the participants of the event.
General Secretary of Hematology Society of Bangladesh Dr. Md. Adnan Hasan Masood and representatives of the European Hematology Association spoke.
The speakers said that the rate of blood cancer and other hematological diseases in Bangladesh is increasing at an alarming rate. If the correct diagnosis of the disease is used in the right way, the survival rate of patients will increase.
The speakers also said that it is important to take initiatives to ensure the same treatment and therapy available in developed countries, which will open up new horizons for hematological patients, a combination of international cooperation and indigenous skills.
