The police recovered the eyes of a young man in Rupganj of Naratanganj. On Tuesday morning, the body was recovered from the side of the bypass sak in the Asitan Highot of Kalni area of Purbachal suburb of the upazila.
The deceased Farooq alias Akash (32) is the son of Barek Sheikh of West Char Keshtapur area of Haimchar upazila of Chandpur district, he is said to have worked in a garment company in Tongi area of Gazipur district.
Rupganj Police Inspector (Investigation) Zubatr Hossain said that the local residents informed the police after seeing the body of a young man lying on the side of the bypass in Kalni area adjacent to the trade fair of Purbachal suburb.
The Inspector of Police (Investigation) also said that it is believed that the young Farooq alias Akash was shot in the eyes and after hitting different parts of his body, the killers left the body here. The body has been sent to Naratanganj Sadar Hospital morgue for investigation. The actual incident can be said after the investigation report is in progress.
